The East Saxon energy suppliers DREWAG – Stadtwerke Dresden GmbH and ENSO Energie Sachsen Ost AG have been using the electronic document management system DHC VISION since November 2016. Embedded in the Intranet of the group of companies, it offers a uniform group tool for recording, coordinating, approving and documenting regulations. As a result of this software implementation, companies expect greater transparency as well as shorter turnaround times throughout the document lifecycle.
In the past, DREWAG and ENSO managed their organizational and work instructions, plant standards and certification documents decentrally in different systems. In an initial project phase, the individual document inventories were migrated and stored in a central document management system. By using DHC VISION, authors, reviewers and approvers can now create, coordinate and approve regulations based on workflow. Following approval by means of an electronic signature, the respective document is published in real time and then archived in a tamper-proof manner by means of a version and change history. In addition to the document management system, the software also offers a module for business process management. Both parts interlock and open up the possibility in the future to visibly link the processes with the associated regulations. The DHC VISION software therefore provides the future toolbox to effectively support the development and shaping of the Integrated Management System Software in the companies.
