11. April 2019

DHC Business Solutions GmbH & Co. KG announces the successful completion of the research project “digiCOMP”. An innovative solution for information management in the context of digital quality and compliance processes was developed and tested. The new “information logistics” approach provides targeted and reliable data for management decisions.

The Saarbrücken-based RegTech company DHC Business Solutions has successfully completed the research project “digiCOMP – Digital Compliance Management through Information Logistics”. The focus was on technological solutions for the regulatory-compliant management and control of information generated in the context of digital quality processes. In particular, it was about intelligent technological possibilities to analyze the individual decision context of, for instance, a quality manager and to present the results specifically for that specific role and function, sorted thematically and prioritized. The result of the project is a prototype solution for digital quality and compliance management that ensures a reliable and targeted flow of information. It thereby guarantees a secure data basis for quality-relevant decisions. The new “Cognitive Search” engine is to be transferred to the DHC VISION digital quality management system in the coming months.

“We understand the critical importance to businesses of secure information processes in a regulated environment,” explains Dr. Wolfgang Kraemer, Managing Director of DHC Business Solutions. “In this respect, it was an exciting task for us to develop a new approach for functioning ‘information logistics’.” The research and development work for this was carried out in the “RegTech InnoLab” of DHC Business Solutions, the company’s own incubator for innovative technology solutions for regulated companies.

The “digiCOMP” project was funded by the Central Technology Program Saar (Zentrale Technologieprogramm Saar, ZTS) and by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). “The ZTS opens up a very good field of experimentation for new ideas for which there is not enough space in day-to-day business,” Kraemer emphasizes.

Currently, further research and development projects are underway at “RegTech innoLAB” or corresponding applications are being evaluated. In research and development projects, DHC Business Solutions also cooperates with partner companies and research institutions. In this way, research excellence and technical expertise from different domains come together in a dynamic innovation network.
